Eric J. Gongre's investigative career began in 1967 as a police officer. In 1974, Mr. Gongre opened the original investigative firm, which mostly specialized in insurance fraud and arson cases. By 1981, the agency was heavily engaged in business with domestic insurers, defense attorneys, Lloyd's Underwriters and British insurance and re-insurance companies.

The agency provided pre-risk security surveys for insurance underwriters with respect to coverages for diamond/precious stone wholesalers, wholesale jewelers, retail jewelers, furriers and high-profile executives, sports figures and entertainers.

Supported by re-insurers, reinsurance brokers and insurers, the agency operated a very successful undercover program throughout the southwest U.S. and Mexico for eighteen months involving the recovery of stolen truck/tractors and trailers.

Re-opening the investigative business in 1995 with offices in metropolitan Atlanta, the Tampa Bay, Florida corporate office was opened in 1997. The Houston, Texas office re-established business in June 2006. This office will house our international division and serve domestic clients in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Mrs. DeLancey began her career with our agencies in October of 2000. Her initial position was that of Agency Administrator. At present, she holds titles of Executive Director and Executive Investigator.

As the agencies now begin both geographical and service expansions, Mrs. DeLancey will be responsible for the management of southeastern U.S. operations, which will be headquartered in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. Our corporate office will also remain in the Bay area.

Mrs. DeLancey is a specialist in the development of medical profiles, histories, information, and records concerning contestable death claims, suspect disability claims, and bodily injury claims arising from various forms of liability losses. She also participates in the investigation of incidents involving product liability, as they pertain to medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

Mrs. DeLancey is a criminologist. She received her Associates Degree from St. Petersburg College and her Bachelor of Science in Criminology from The University of South Florida.
